Start with a target you choose
The stock tool does not recommend a supply amount. It can count sealed single offers for the selected tube, bag or bottle. If a user chooses five matching sealed packages and already holds two, the gap is three complete selected offers. The result says nothing about how long those products should last or whether that is an appropriate inventory choice.
Use the43count only for the selected chew
For Greenies, an optional counted-chew basis uses the explicitly listed 43count bag. A target of 100matching chews with 20held leaves 80wanted; two bags add 86, giving 106held in total and six above the chosen target. Those are user-input purchasing examples, not a recommendation of 100chews or a daily number to feed.
Refuse continuous-product dose counts
Selecting the chew/application-count basis for toothpaste or liquid returns unsupported. A tube’s grams and a bottle’s size do not establish an exact number of applications or doses. No pearl-size gram assumption, water-intake estimate or capful-based lifetime is used. The tool does not accept animal weight or clinical details.
Handle zero and boundaries transparently
A target already met by held stock gives zero offers to buy and the appropriate surplus. Blank, negative, fractional, exponent-style or over-limit count inputs are unresolved or invalid. Product and basis changes clear the target entries so a chew count cannot accidentally remain attached to a tube calculation.
Verify the actual offer before ordering
The selected TropiClean single bottle is different from a two-pack; a Greenies sibling count needs another package definition. Check the active cart’s unit, current label and physical held stock. The calculation cannot inspect seal condition, expiry, storage suitability or an individual animal’s ability to use the supply safely.
A surplus is a packaging result, not extra use advice
The100-chew target with20held produces two43countbags and a final106, six above the user’s chosen target. That surplus says nothing about whether extra chews should be fed, how many days they cover or whether held stock remains suitable. A purchaser may prefer another verified pack configuration, but this site does not invent a partial-bag offer. Verify the actual current cart, physical package condition and relevant label before treating a mathematical target as a real purchasable supply.
